Capacity continued

We made cones for popcorn, one for Poppa Bear, Mother Bear and Baby Bear. We popped the corn and filled our cones to capacity. 

Clip and Climb, thanks Red Cross

We are so fortunate, the Red Cross gave Elmwood Normal School funding after the earthquake to enjoy a special time with friends. So here we are having a lovely time at Clip and Climb. It was wonderful to see everyone having a go and also the cooperative work that went on as well. Thanks to the RED CROSS.

We are learning what Capacity is...
we read the story of the three little bears and talked about the size of the bowls.
Today we spent the day playing with water and making cups of tea and sloppy soup for Father Bear, Mother Bear and Baby Bear filling the containers to capacity.

Tee Hee Hee April Fools

The door was covered in caution and danger, it said there was an infestation of spiders. All classroom activities were cancelled. Some children raced to the office to find out where Big Bill was, they thought he could get rid of all the spiders. Fortunately the Tara- antula's were not poisonous and after the bell rang we could go in and continue our wonderful day. FOOLED YA!!!!
