We can add numbers to 10

Sneha is a maths whizz, she knows 5 + 5 = 10

Charlie made 6 + 4 = 10

Olivia made 6 + 4 = 10

Lucas made 3 and 7 to make 10

Ollie knows his doubles, 5 + 5 = 10

Luca created 5 and 5 to make 10

Isabella knows 7 and 3 make 10

Josh made 7 + 3 = 10

Stella is very good at her doubles, she knows 5 and 5 equals 10

Alexandra made 9 and 1 to make 10

 Cameron made 4 +6 =10

Sophia made 2 + 8

Tom knows 4 + 6 = 10

Ferrymead Stepping Back in Time

What a glorious day, we were so fortunate and had the most amazing day. We baked biscuits, watched an old movie, went to school, did Mrs Gray's housework and travelled on the tram.
The children's stories are displayed on the walls. Come in and read them.

Gavin Bishop's Visit

Gavin Bishop writes great stories. We love his books. Most of us have a copy of his illustrations in Quaky Cat. When he read to us he had a voice like a giant.

 You can find many of his books in the library, here is an example of some of them.

Shapes

Next step was to create a 3D object from a 2D template. 

We are learning about 2D and 3D shapes. Today we went outside to make the shapes using ourselves. We are learning about sides and corners.
