First Dance Practice with Hayley

Today was our first day with Hayley and the children were super duper excited! They have already learnt the first moves to our song...Puppet on a string.
We are doing this because in our Inquiry unit we are going to be designing and making and possibly modifying puppets as part of Technology.

While I was watching the children it reminded me of the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang so we watched it, here is the clip... enjoy. x

Harold Visits Us to talk about Healthy Food Choices

Today we went to see Harold and Amanda in their special van. It was great to see Harold the Giraffe and he told us lots about the food we eat.
We learnt that we should eat lots of cereals , bread,  fruit and vegetables, some meat, chicken cheese, milk and yogurt. And a little of sweets, chippies and butter.

Sculpture- A Terms Work

Don't they look amazing. The children followed the instructions of the clay instructor  and also me when we painted them we tried to use only one colour and created the mouth and eye carefully. What a great ending to our terms work on Sculpture.

Place Value Fun

This is fantastic, I did this with the children... I wasn't quite as army mean! The children are great with talls and smalls as a way of remembering ones and tens.
