We are a Year One class, at Elmwood Normal School. There are 12 girls in our class and 9 boys. We hope you enjoy reading and viewing what we are doing in our classroom.

The Journey
Recently some colleagues and I were fortunate to visit Wainoni School, in CHRISTCHURCH. We went along to observe how they utilise S.O.L.O Taxonomy in the classroom. It was truly amazing to watch 5 and 6 year olds owning their learning journey and acknowledging where they were at... Magical. Seeing this inspired me to return to my classroom and employ the theory of S.O.L.O learning. The video above reminded me of the importance of embracing the journey not the destination. Enjoy.
