Measurement using non standard measurement

Ned and Imogen are using paper clips to measure how wide the gravestone is.
Alexandra is measuring the broom stick.
She makes sure that there are no gaps between the paper clips.
Tom and Ben are trying to find out which is taller. The witch was taller because she had a pointy hat.
Isla is measuring the wing span of the bat. It was 7 paper clips long.
Cameron and Constance were a great team measuring the bats wingspan.
Matilda and Isabella wrote down the answers to self check with the rest of the class.

Ferrymead Stepping Back in Time

What a glorious day, we were so fortunate and had the most amazing day. We baked biscuits, watched an old movie, went to school, did Mrs Gray's housework and travelled on the tram.
The children's stories are displayed on the walls. Come in and read them.

Gavin Bishop's Visit

Gavin Bishop writes great stories. We love his books. Most of us have a copy of his illustrations in Quaky Cat. When he read to us he had a voice like a giant.

You can find many of his books in the library, here is an example of some of them.

This photo is with Mr Bishop after he spoke to us.
