Such fun to finish of our Statistics unit. How many different combinations of colours and amount was in each packet of m & m's. Listening to the children's conversations was enlightening. A fantastic three weeks of learning, culminating in connections being made from tally to graph. Love learning

Sport Start

We had lots of fun with Coach Rick, we learnt how to bowl and throw underarm (just like the Aussies!)

Brett gave the children the example of a child in a dark, that is pinched by another child, what should they do?

FLICK THE SWITCH

illuminate the problem. Bullies thrive on keeping adults, teachers, people with authority in the dark.

TELL THE TEACHER

they are not telling tales, if it is something that happens ALL THE TIME.

Interesting facts from the session, were that New Zealand has the highest rate of bullying. Less than 20% of children report bullying. Of that, that is reported...
